Cafe Nini

About us

This small room, which began as a coffee house and almost immediately segued into a full-fledged restaurant, quickly became a popular spot in Grosse Pointe. The room has an appealing energy and intimacy ā€“ with 38 seats around tables nestled close together. The well-prepared menu is the right length for a bite-size restaurant that includes eight appetizers, a half-dozen pasta dishes, and five main plates, including a notable favorite, tournedos di Vitello, medallions of veal filet in a fresh mushroom sauce. Cafe Nini is named for Alicia (Nini) Barbieri, the third generation of the Da Edoardo restaurant family.
